I am writing today to ask you to support services in Rhode Island that will help Older Rhode Islanders stay in our homes and community.

These services include home care, adult day, assisted living, transportation, affordable housing, home modifications, and other services that will help make it possible for me to stay out of a nursing home.

Please make sure that in these tight state budget times the dignity and choice of older Rhode Islanders is preserved and strengthened.

I have learned about the improvements that are underway in Rhode Island regarding the access, quality, and financing of home and community care programs.
