Our Conference will educate an audience of over 250 senior consumers, other stakeholders (providers of senior services, policymakers) and the general public about how we can make “aging in community” the cornerstone of our state's services for seniors. Our Keynote Speaker will be Janice Blanchard , a nationally known expert on “aging in community”. It will feature workshops including: a presentation by the founder of Beacon Hill Village , a national model for a mutual support community; “Aging in Community” Projects in RI; Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities; and Improving Housing Options for Seniors. It will feature exhibits by a wide array of senior services providers.
